“It is with great excitement that I report a combined and heartfelt thank you from our community, school and church. We are very isolated and have struggled with safe drinking water the entire history of our village. This well has had a broken pump for a long time and the rate of sickness has been increasing as we gather water from the creek at the bottom of the mountain or the swamp in the rainy season. Both sources are a long walk for all of us, approximately 5 km one way in the dry season.
Today we celebrate the efforts of your labour, a new handpump on our well in the center of our little community” – Village Representative
