#317 – Zaria, Nigeria

Zaria, Nigeria
Rehabilitating their broken handpump and reestablishing their access to safe water.
Completed: August 15th, 2024

On behalf of Zaria community, we write to express our gratitude to Lifewater Nigeria for their kind gesture in fixing and repairing our long-term damaged borehole in our community. Since this borehole stopped working, the people of this community had been facing serious challenges in getting portable water. But today, we have access to portable water. God bless Lifewater Nigeria.
Yours faithfully,

Emmanuel Sate

My name is Emmanuel Shaba. We have been drinking contaminated and unsafe water from our dirty stream since our borehole stopped working. This has led to outbreaks of typhoid and malaria in our community. The stream is far from the village, making it extremely difficult for us to access water. Thank you, Lifewater, for coming to our aid. The repair of our borehole has brought us immense joy and relief. May God bless Lifewater abundantly
